The B2B Expo will be staged at Elm West Banquets on Thursday, September 26, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., with attendance open to Chamber members, non-member businesses, and not-for-profit organizations.

Pritzker has proclaimed September 8-14 as Chamber of Commerce Week in Illinois, and Elmhurst Mayor Scott Levin will issue a Mayoral Proclamation declaring September 8-14 as Chamber of Commerce Week in Elmhurst.

The Explore Elmhurst Express Trolley program offers residents and visitors a FREE 30-minute ride around the lively City of Elmhurst, connecting the shopping districts of downtown Elmhurst, Spring Road, and York and Vallette. Making six stops across the shopping districts, the 16-week trolley will run every Friday and Saturday from May 31 through September 14 from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight. No tickets are required.

The DuPage Cycling Foundation and Team EMC2/Elmhurst Master Cycling have joined forces again to stage the 2024 edition of the Elmhurst Cycling Classic around Elmhurst University’s campus on Saturday, June 8. Cyclists will participate in a series of Illinois Cycling Association-sanctioned Illinois Criterium Championship races, in advance of Omnium Day 2 racing being staged on Sunday, June 9, at the Cobb Park Criterium.

Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President and CEO Austin D. Goolsbee will deliver the Keynote Address before a “Sold Out” crowd of some 260 businesspeople at the 22nd Annual Multi-Chamber Economic Outlook Luncheon Networking and Business Expo at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center in Oak Brook on April 4. The 20-chamber event is co-hosted by the Westmont Chamber of Commerce and ECCI, which first teamed up back in 2003.

Some 150 Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry members and their guests will celebrate our Chamber’s 105th Annual Awards Gala in the President’s Room at Elm West Banquets on March 22. On that night, Alan Energy Services Air Conditioning and Heating will be honored as A.J. “Toche” Terrones Business of the Year for 2023, while humanitarian Dan Gibbons of the Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot Foundation will become the 34th inductee into the ECCI Civic Hall of Fame.

A handful of the 33 inductees participated in the December 15 unveiling of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) Centennial Celebration NFP’s Civic Hall of Fame public memorial held at the Elmhurst Public Library. The public memorial features a portable TouchPros Touch Wall interactive, touch-screen TV monitor (65 inches) on which users can view biographies, photographs and video clips of each of the inductees, and will “travel” around Elmhurst before finding its final home.
