In a decisive move aimed at bolstering Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu yesterday reconstituted the board of NNPCL. The overhaul saw the exit of board chairman, Chief Pius Akinyelure and Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, along with all the members appointed in November 2023.

    It was cheering news for 774 youths sharpening their skills under the newly-launched National Health Fellows Programme  (NHFP) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has offered them automatic employment after their one-year training. “You are hired,” the President told the trainees, Nigeria’s development partners, senior government officials and royal fathers, including the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, during the launch of the NHFP at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, yesterday.
