Clouds will begin to build in around sunrise on ahead of our next system. Saturday morning will be dry, but snow showers will start to move in from the west around noon. Scattered snow showers are expected through the afternoon. Snow accumulations will be light; most areas will see an inch or less.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - An area of high pressure is sitting just to our east this evening. This is keeping us dry tonight but southerly winds are bringing in enough moisture for fog development overnight. This high pressure system should keep most of the state dry on Saturday; however, an approaching low pressure system could bring a few showers to far western Maine. An approaching low will create cloudy skies on Sunday and the slight chance of showers.
