BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The high pressure that brought us spring-like weather today will remain over the area as we head into the overnight. Clouds will begin to build in around sunrise on ahead of our next system. Saturday morning will be dry, but snow showers will start to move in from the west around noon. Scattered snow showers are expected through the afternoon. Snow accumulations will be light; most areas will see an inch or less.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - An area of high pressure is sitting just to our east this evening. This is keeping us dry tonight but southerly winds are bringing in enough moisture for fog development overnight. This high pressure system should keep most of the state dry on Saturday; however, an approaching low pressure system could bring a few showers to far western Maine. An approaching low will create cloudy skies on Sunday and the slight chance of showers.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight with temperatures in the upper single digits to upper teens. It’ll be breezy as well, but mainly in the mountains, so wind chill values are going to feel closer to zero degrees in those locations. On Saturday we’ll start off the morning with some sunshine, but clouds are going to increase into the afternoon ahead of the low pressure system that’s going to impact us Saturday night and Sunday.

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Freezing rain is ingoing this morning, especially in northern and eastern Maine. This could produce a glaze of ice and make roadways and walkways slick. Snow showers are expected to develop for inland areas today with rain showers near the coast. It will also be cooler with highs only in the 30s. Rain and snow showers will continue overnight and into Saturday morning. Precipitation will being to taper off Saturday afternoon. Snow accumulations will be light for most areas.
