WLWT asked Jeffery Shaffer, Director of the Applied AI Lab and Assistant Professor-Educator at Lindner College of Business, for advice on how to use generative AI to plan a getaway. Shaffer told WLWT that he thinks generative AI tools, such as Perplexity, can be a huge time-saver. "I'd rather go watch an episode of something on TV or go take my dog for a walk, or something else that I would enjoy much better," Shaffer said.

In terms of retirement funds, Neugent said to slow down and focus on the long-term. “A lot of times people make the mistake of looking only at a retirement portfolio and not all of their assets,” he said. “So, they don't realize that while the market may be exposed, other assets are not exposed; for example, real estate.”Neugent said that as people get closer to retirement, it is common to “de-risk” portfolios and invest into more fixed income regardless of the state of the market.

UC honorary fraternity Sigma Sigma has awarded the title to one graduating man each year who balances academic achievement with student leadership, contributions to UC and the embodiment of “Bearcat Spirit” since 1949. Phelps graduated on May 2 with degrees in business economics and finance after earning the Mr. Bearcat title in April.
