Growing up, I used to watch youtubers like Michelle Phan, and was eager to get my hands on drugstore makeup products to recreate her beautiful looks. As I got older though, it was so intimidating walking into makeup stores like MAC or Sephora, trying to find the right shade of foundation or concealer, or even find the right brand that suited my skin type.

At one point in our lives, we’ll experience the pain of loss. We may feel loss after the end of a friendship or romantic relationship, or encounter the mind-numbing loss of losing a pet or loved one. It’s an inevitable part of the human experience, and unfortunately, we’re bound to continually face loss in all types of ways. So then, what can we do about it? It’s something I did not think about until the passing of a friend shattered my perspective on life.

During my 4 years of attending college, there has been a continuous shared objective in my friend group to find something fun and exciting to do on the weekends. While smaller groups have little to no limitations on where they can go to have a good time, it was difficult for my friends and I to find a place to hangout all together. Our group would typically fluctuate between 10 to 15 people, and so naturally, finding something to do that everyone enjoyed was difficult.
