She joins Imperial from the University of Oxford where she was a British Heart Foundation (BHF) Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, an Honorary Consultant in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, and the Lead of the Cardiovascular Theme of the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre.
