Russia is trying to create the general impression of a ceasefire, while attacks continue, according to President Zelenskyy – while the Ukrainian military said at least 45 combat clashes had taken place since Vladimir Putin announced his so-called temporary truce. Ukraine said the Easter ceasefire should be extended to 30 days – but the Kremlin said it wouldn’t be continued beyond midnight tonight. And they claimed – without providing any details – that Ukraine had also breached the truce.
