“With gentrification, we've lost a lot of what made the Five Points neighborhood—the businesses, the people—we've lost a lot of that. And unfortunately, a lot of the folks that have come into the neighborhood don't connect to that history,” she said. “I love to celebrate this history in our community and all the people that I grew up with, and all of the folks they were connected with.
