Alessia Russo is officially the Barclays Womenâs Super League top goalscorer for the 2024/25 season. Our number 23 was on the scoresheet 12 times this campaign, and shares the award with Khadija Shaw from Manchester City. She opened her league account in November against former club, Manchester United, and proceeded to score in the next five consecutive matches. Alongside her goal tally, the England international also contributed three assists.

Caitlin Foord has won the women's Player of the Month award for April, with 40% of the vote. Our Aussie winger scored three goals from four fixtures across the month, with two of these strikes coming in a 5-1 win over Leicester City at Emirates Stadium. "We're not happy with it, of course," said our head coach after the full-time whistle. "They got a chance early in the game, and I think that somehow gave them belief. But then there are three or four goals that are turnovers. We really need to do better on the ball and be better positioned. That's a collective responsibility.
