They discovered fifth graders were placed in one of only two classrooms, each with 37 students. "My daughter is one of these," Jeffery Keller said.

    SARATOGA SPRINGS — A wildfire has burned 200 acres of state lands near Saratoga Springs, according to city officials Wednesday afternoon. The Clay Pit Fire was discovered Wednesday near Israel Canyon just before 5 p.m., and the cause is unknown. Six fire engines, two helicopters and two air tankers were working to put out the blaze as of Wednesday afternoon. Helicopters are pulling water from a water pond to drop on the flames. Planes are dropping flame retardant. There is no estimate on containment.

    Estimated read time: Less than a minuteBERYL, Iron County — A 7-year-old boy in Beryl, Iron County, was pinned by a water tank in a truck bed Tuesday night and flown to a hospital, police say. The boy was in the back of the truck when the strap securing the water tank snapped, sending the tank sliding. The boy's family got him unpinned before responders with the Iron County Sheriff's Office and ambulance responded, Iron County Sheriff's Lt. Jeff Humphries said.

So, imagine the surprise of golfers at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Sunday when a small plane crash-landed on the green, skidding out until it came to a stop in the parking lot.
