TULSA, Okla. — Showers and storms continue this morning for a wet commute across the area. Thankfully, heaviest rain is already starting to move out. Flooding will remain a concern so make sure you take it easy as you head out. Most look to be dry for any Friday afternoon and evening plans. We are keeping a chance for an isolated shower but not everyone will see rain later. Afternoon highs near 70° with northwest winds 10-15 mph.

***SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR COUNTIES NORTH OF I-40 UNTIL 10 AM******FLOOD WATCH FOR ALL OF THE AREA UNTIL 7 AM THURSDAY***Rain gear will be needed today as showers and storms are expected throughout the day. Some storms could be strong to severe as a cold front sweeps through this morning. Additional strong storms possible later this evening as well. Primary threat is wind and hail with some of these storms. Flash flooding is also a concern with all the rain we have seen.

TULSA, Okla. — Most of Monday looks pleasant, with mostly dry conditions and afternoon highs that stick to the low 80s. More storm chances are possible by Monday evening. Storm development is not guaranteed, as a cap will be in place over the region through much of the afternoon. However, if storms manage to develop, the environmental conditions are supportive of high-impact weather: very large hail, damaging straight-line winds, and tornadoes.
