New York choreographer and Harker alum Ankita Sharma ('16) hosted a contemporary dance workshop for students on Sept. 20 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the dance room. The workshop introduced students to improvisational techniques and Sharma's experimental choreography style. It aimed to push students past their boundaries and adapt to new material.

Twenty-five Future Problem Solving (FPS) members participated in competition events at FPS Launch with practice problems, performances and an alumni panel in Nichols Hall on Saturday. Officers began the event with a presentation discussing the four different FPS events that students compete in at the state and international level every year: Global Issues Problem Solving, Community Problem Solving, Creative Writing and Storytelling.

A fire broke out inside the Mr. Suds Laundromat sometime after 1 a.m. on Monday, May 15. Mr. Suds is located in the same plaza as the Sherwin-Williams paint store. If certain paints catch on fire, it can act as a catalyst for fires to spread, all while releasing toxic chemicals which are dangerous for those in the area.
