Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke is set to be out for "around six weeks" with a knee injury, says head coach Ange Postecoglou, as the club's injury crisis deepens. Solanke was one of 14 senior players absent from Spurs' 3-2 win at Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday. And afterwards, Postecoglou said he expected Solanke to be out until early March, meaning he will miss their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg meeting with Liverpool as well as several Premier League games.

Third-tier side Wolverhampton Wanderers have been drawn at home to Women's FA Cup holders Manchester United in the fifth round of the 2024-25 competition. Wolves, who are second in the Women's National League Northern Premier, have a full-time coach and staff, but primarily part-time squad of players. United, who defeated Tottenham to win the cup for the first time last season, beat amateur side West Brom, who are eighth in that division, 7-0 in round four on Saturday.

Hamilton’s comments came after he qualified seventh for the sprint race at the Qatar Grand Prix. The seven-time champion, who is joining Ferrari next season, was 0.399 seconds slower than team-mate George Russell, who will start the sprint race second behind McLaren’s Lando Norris.
