While there is evidence that COVID-19 vaccination protects against development of post-COVID conditions (PCC) after severe infection data are limited on whether vaccination reduces the risk after cases of less-severe non-hospitalized COVID-19 disease with more recent SARS-CoV-2 variant viruses.

An ongoing prospective cohort study, the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI), was designed to examine socio-demographic, behavioral, and clinical risk factors for several disease outcomes in post-menopausal women. At enrollment, 161,608 post-menopausal women between ages 50 and 79 in the United States were recruited from the general population at 40 clinical recruitment sites between 1993 and 1998 [17, 18].

AbstractCommunity health workers (CHWs) remain an underutilized resource in social risk diagnostics in the primary care setting. This process evaluation study seeks to assess the role of CHWs in social risk screening, referral, and follow-up through process mapping to identify barriers to the process for future quality improvement efforts.

To investigate the microbiome and local immune microenvironment in chronic pelvic pain and differences among patients with and without endometriosis, we designed a pilot study of gynecologic patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery at a single tertiary academic hospital. After institutional review board approval (#1712142464), patients were recruited and enrolled in a gynecologic surgery practice from 02/07/2019 to 11/29/2021.
