The college basketball transfer portal is set to close next week, and while the action has started to slow down a little bit in terms of players entering, things have continued to heat up on the recruiting trail. Through transfer portal additions, teams are starting to cement their rosters and lock in on the players needed to fill out the holes. The transfer portal classes are becoming clear and provide a better look at what each team's roster will look like in 2025-26.

Kansas has now added three players from the transfer portal. Kansas continues to reshape their roster and St. Bonaventure guard Melvin Council Jr. tells 247Sports that he has committed to the Jayhawks. A 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard who can play multiple perimeter positions, Council is a key add for Bill Self and the Jayhawks as they look to rebound from a disappointing 2024-25 campaign.

We got our first glimpse of big man Ryan Doane during the high school season and while the 6-foot-8 power forward for All In Elite didn't put up huge numbers, it is pretty easy to see the freshman big is going to be a good one. He sets great screens, posts strong, has good hands, soft touch and seems to process the game at a pretty high level. We'd bet he's making some pretty good noise by the end of the summer. An import from Serbia, Stra Zelic is another freshman big man with a lot of potential.
