Ahead of the 2025 Tianguis Turistico event, nearly 50 travel advisors were hosted on a pre-fam experience in the Baja California region of Mexico. The trip began with a stay at El Cielo Resort and Winery in the Valle de Guadalupe, complete with visits to multiple wineries in the area to full immerse into the destination. The trip closed with advisors strengthening their relationships with hoteliers, DMCs, tour operators, and more at the  Tianguis Turistico trade show.

The Walt Disney Company announced on May 7 that it will be expanding to offer a seventh theme park: Disneyland Abu Dhabi. Created in partnership with Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations, Miral, the theme park resort will be located on Yas Island, surrounded by scenic waterfront and featuring some of the coolest Disney-inspired architecture at any of the parks.

Is Newark Airport now too dangerous to fly in and out of? That’s what some air traffic controllers are saying after recently walking off the job, which resulted in United Airlines needing to slash a number of routes. “‘Don’t fly into Newark. Avoid Newark at all costs. It is not safe. It is not a safe situation right now for the flying public,” a federal air safety employee reportedly told NBC News correspondent Tom Costello.
