Girls flag football on the rise in Northeast Wisconsin

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Flag football is among the fastest growing sports in America, especially among young girls. As of two years ago there were around 500,000 girls playing the sport around the country. In Northeast Wisconsin girls high school programs continue to form, including at Oneida Nation. “Just being with the team, building the bonds with the girls this season. I think it was just really good opportunity to get out there and experience it,” said freshman Joie Gutierrez.
Oconto Falls rallies to knock off Little Chute in extras

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Oconto Falls earned a season opening win over Little Chute in extra inning son Saturday. The Panthers took an early 1-0 lead in the first inning before a brief pitchers duel broke out between Oconto Falls Jack Adler and Little Chute’s Ethan Melendez. Little Chute posted a four run fourth inning thanks in part to a RBI double by Reece Joren and a two-run home run by Brock Garnder. Oconto Falls rallied with a three run sixth, and earned the 5-4 win in eight innings.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is set to come off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List after passing his physical. Kraft has been out since suffering a torn pectoral during the offseason. Head coach Matt LaFleur said following Family Night that Kraft was set to return to practice this week, and would be limited to individual drills. Kraft finished his rookie season with 355 yards receiving and a pair of touchdowns.
