    The Texas Attorney General says his office has resolved a lawsuit with a North Texas school district. Attorney General Ken Paxton says his office has resolved the lawsuit with Coppell ISD after the district took measures to make sure that critical race theory will not be taught in classrooms. Paxton sued the district in March to stop the district from teaching what he calls unlawful critical race theory.

    Saturday is Election Day across Texas for city and school races. Dallas County Elections Administrator Heider Garcia says his team is ready after having to go through training on new devices. Poll workers had to learn how to operate new electronic poll book devices in some locations after issues in the General Election in November. "We bought all new poll books, all new software, and we took that project on," Garcia said.

    Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier is giving more information about the triple murder west of Fort Worth late last month. He says investigators believe 19-year-old Barrett Copeland and 27-year-old Trin Lawrence McKnight knew the victims. "In that community, if you're familiar with it, it's a small community," Authier said.
