News Brief Monday November 25, 2024 1:55 pm Jane Close Conoley, the first woman to lead Cal State Long Beach, will retire in June 2025 following more than a decade as the university’s president. Conoley’s tenure coincided with a period of growth at Cal State Long Beach, the second-largest campus in the CSU system. Student headcount has increased 12% since 2014, when Conoley beganleading the campus.
