Clouds have been persistent today, with a few passing showers rolling in from the south. Although rain won't be heavy today, rain chances over the next few days could favor downpours. Increased humidity levels and temperatures heading into the first half of the weekend can fuel downpours with rumbles of thunder. As low pressure moves east, it drags a cooling pattern into the Great Lakes area, including CNY. Highs to start next week will likely be in the 50s

Another beautiful day so far today, however skies look a little more milky. This is from an approaching low pressure bringing thin upper-level clouds. We cut it close for rain chances today, but much of it stay south and west of CNY. Still, an isolated shower could make its way north. Tomorrow will be a similar story, however it will be a little cooler, and there will be a better chance for afternoon showers.

It's been a Top 10 Day so far today, with low humidity, lots of sun, and highs climbing into the mid to upper 70s. Tonight, clear or partly cloudy skies will give you a good view of the full "Spring" Moon. Tomorrow's highs will still reach the 70s, but an approaching low pressure from the south will usher in a few more clouds throughout the day. Rain also approaches, but as they head north they battle sinking air from lingering high pressure. This will cause a lot of the rain showers to fall apart.

Cloudy and damp conditions persist today, as areas of patchy sprinkles still roll through parts of CNY. More widespread rain moves in Friday, with most spots picking up around a half an inch to 3/4 of an inch of rain. The rain lingers into the overnight and into early Saturday morning. Saturday starts out damp, but the good news is weather gradually dries up throughout the day, and sunshine moves in by the evening hours. Highs in the mid 60s.

The heaviest of rain has ended today, but lingering drizzle and fog continue with damp conditions for the rest of the day today. Tonight, mostly cloudy and fog. Lows in the 40s. Tomorrow favors slightly more dry weather compared to today. No impactful rain is expected but it will still be a little damp with patchy drizzle. Widespread rain arrives again Friday with most locations picking up 3/4 to an inch of rainfall.
