It has been confirmed that a total of thirty-three rooms have been affected in a fire accident at Maaha Beach Resort and Vision Beach resort in the Ellemeble District of the Western Region. A swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) curtailed the wild fire from escalating on a Wednesday [May 28, 2025] night. District Fire Commander, DO2 Mark Hamilton detailed that fire started at around 7 pm from Vision Beach Resort, spreading wildly by the winds to Maaha Beach Resort.
