The Cavs won game 2 against the Miami Heat in the 1st round of the playoffs 121-112! Now, the next two games are in Miami. Game 3 is this Saturday at 1:00 and game 4 is Monday with the tip off time TBD. The next home game for the Cavs will be next Wednesday (April 30) for game 5 with start time again, TBD. Should the Cavs win this series against Miami, they will advance to the 2nd round and face either Indiana or Milwaukee. GO CAVS!

I took advantage of the nice weather Tuesday afternoon and cut the grass for the first time this season. My yard needed it. In some places it was getting kind of unsightly, while in other places it was still acceptable. However looking at the forecast I wanted to get it done before Friday when we are supposed to have our next good chance of rain. If I waited until after then I would be in trouble.

We are now into late April. Close to May 1st. In Northeast Ohio that really only means one thing…OPENING DAY FOR CEDAR POINT!This year, that day is Saturday May 3rd. Think about it. Next Saturday already! I know this is a long way out, but as of now the weather looks to be decent for the day – sun & clouds with temperatures around 70. I’m bummed since my body has told me it’s time to give up most of the rides, so can I live vicariously through you? 🙂

Since we had the long holiday weekend – I decided to take advantage of that as much as I could!First on Thursday, after some delays: My mom took me out to dinner for my birthday to one of my favorite places for a special occasion – Harry’s Steakhouse in Independence. YUM!!!Next on Friday: I am a big fan of some miniature golf. Not long ago, they opened Fore Corners Mini Golf at W 130th & Sprague near where I used to live in Parma so I wanted to check that out.
