In furtherance of the coronation rites for Owa Clement Adesuyi Hastruph, the Palace of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland has declared another curfew across the town. The curfew, which takes effect from 8:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, will last until 6:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025. According to a statement released by High Chief Olalekan Folorunso, the curfew is aimed at allowing the traditional rites to continue without disturbance.

He declared the state of emergency on Wester Region which now comprises of South-West and parts of South-South.
