The Murray, Kentucky, Police Department recently noted it received a complaint about a man intentionally releasing a raccoon inside a business on the evening of June 6. According to a report from The Blaze, the animal subsequently bit a patron. The man, 40-year-old Jonathan Mason, was arrested just six months earlier for being drunk and disorderly — and trying to leave a bar … on a mule. (One jackass atop another.) I’ve always been a fan of weird news.

The Canada Post, the nation’s government-run postal organization, recently announced it will be issuing “Places of Pride” stamps to mark “pivotal moments” in LGBT history. Sorry, make that “2SLGBTQIA+” history. The organization issued a press release stating, “Canada Post announces Places of Pride, recognizing four vital places for 2SLGBTQIA+ in Canada.” Not exactly Shakespearian wording, or worthy of Robert W. Service for that matter, but neither of those two were gay.

Apparently so. According to Robert Spencer, writing at Frontpage magazine, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has opened a new theme park, “Heaven Time,” which is -- bizarrely and ironically -- designed to give visitors an up-close and personal experience of the torments of hell. They even have an exhibit of that name. He writes that the oddly named Heaven Time theme park is located at the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps base in the northern Iranian city of Fouman.

From The Daily Wire: An LGBT “Rooted in Pride” art exhibit surrounding a children’s playground in Brooklyn, New York, features nude images and what appears to be a man dressed in drag, and promotes gender confusion and anti-Trump messages. The LGBT content surrounds the JJ Byrne Playground, where families and children as young as toddlers play, according to images provided to The Daily Wire, and other images accessible via Google Maps.

Mark Carney, the newly installed Prime Minister of Canada, recently gave a speech at an Eid al-Adha celebration in Ottawa. The event was hosted by the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC). In his speech, Carney told his fellow Canadians that “all of us must come together – around the values of Eid.” He added, “The values of community, of generosity, and yes, of sacrifice.
