Hannah Gajewska is only eight and already has a number of gold medals under her belt - with the Olympics in her sights in the future. People have been urged to check if they are eligible to claim a weekly payment as the criteria has increased. From July 2025, the weekly income disregard will be increased for the Carer's Allowance, a weekly payment to people who care for someone because of their age, disability or illness. You must pass a means test to qualify for the payment, but people are being reminded that they may now meet the criteria even if they didn't previously.
