Mike Woodson isn't safe just yet after Indiana's latest win over Ohio State. The Indiana Hoosiers have beat the Ohio State Buckeyes; the Hoosiers are the 2024 college football National Champ...oh wait, wrong sport. In all seriousness, the Hoosiers were able to walk away from an overtime thriller in Columbus against Ohio State with a 77-76 win over the Buckeyes. The Hoosiers weren't able to bring down the Buckeyes during football season, but they certainly did during basketball season.

More than just Hoosier fans were watching Indiana football in 2024. Before 2024, the most relevant sport in Indiana was basketball, understandably. However, when you add head coach Curt Cignetti into the mix, suddenly, a lot more Hoosiers fans are caring about football. In the 2024 season, the Indiana Hoosiers were featured on 10 National broadcasts. They were shown on the Big Ten Network six times, NBC once, Peacock once, Fox twice, CBS once, and FS1 once.

After some late NFL Draft announcements, Rourke finds himself sliding down one particular quarterback draft board. It seems like the disrespect of Indiana is continuing to follow Kurtis Rourke even to the NFL Draft. In his initial rankings, NFL Draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. had Rourke ranked No. 6 on his quarterback board, but after some new players officially headed to the draft, it seems Rourke is falling a bit. The sixth-year center won't face any punishment for his part in the scuffle between Indiana and Illinois earlier this week. Indiana head coach Mike Woodson said after the Indiana-Illinois game that he would have to wait and see if the Big Ten would take some action against sixth-year center Oumar Ballo after his part in the scuffle between the Hoosiers and Fighting Illini.

The Hoosiers have now dropped two in a row and have to find a way to get back on track. Indiana has dropped two games in a row in embarrassing fashion, as both losses were by more than 20 points. Hoosier fans are ready to show Mike Woodson the door as this seems like the further thing from what the culture of Indiana basketball is meant to be.

Curt Cignetti did not hide his disdain for the SEC in his latest social media post. If there is one thing that Indian fans can count on head coach Curt Cignetti doing, it is speaking his mind, and maybe even stirring the pot a bit. Just days before the National Championship is set to be played, Cignetti made a little post to social media, which doesn't seem like it should be a big thing. However, the Indiana coach decided to throw a little shade at the SEC in his post very subtly.

The Hoosiers have taken down three-ranked opponents this season, but can't seem to crack back into the Top 25. At the beginning of the 2024-2025 women's basketball season, the Indiana Hoosiers found themselves right on the line of not being ranked, as they came in at No. 25. After a loss in the first week of play to Harvard, the Hoosiers quickly fell out of the rankings, but they still received votes.

The Hoosiers look to build off their big ranked win over Iowa as they welcome in Illinois tonight. Indiana women's basketball has been on a bit of a roll as of late, minus a loss to a very good and seemingly unstoppable UCLA team. The Hoosiers are 4-1 in conference play and are fifth in the conference behind teams like No. 1 UCLA, No. 4 USC, No. 9 Ohio State, and No. 8 Maryland.

Curt Cignetti's predecessor is heading south to the ACC to become Clemson's newest defensive coordinator. In their first season post-Tom Allen, the Hoosiers had their best season in program history and their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance. Allen, who was hired as Penn State's defensive coordinator after being let go by Indiana in 2023, helped lead Penn State to the quarterfinal of the College Football Playoff.

The Indiana Hoosiers head coach could be shown the door at the end of the season, and if so, how much would Indiana owe him? If it were up to Indiana fans, Mike Woodson would be out of a job as of this morning, but of course, that would probably cause a lot more harm than good right now. So instead, they are making their feelings known during games, like last night when they chanted "Fire Woodson" during the first half and then deserted the student section.
