QUAD CITIES, IA/Ill. (KWQC) -- YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST ERIK MAITLAND:Unfortunately, our weather pattern is getting a bit sluggish over the next few days and this will likely delay the onset of sunny and warmer weather that we were looking forward to next week. Saturday and possibly Sunday there will be the chance for a few scattered showers under skies that will bring more clouds than sun. Even Monday could bring a slight chance for some raindrops.

QUAD CITIES, IA/Ill. (KWQC) -- YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST ERIK MAITLAND:After a mostly clear Tuesday evening the overnight hours will bring an increase in clouds. The clouds will continue through our Wednesday with scattered showers developing along the way. With a rainy period ahead of us – all the way through Friday – local rivers will have to be watched for minor rises. Most are already approaching “action stage” with a low chance for minor flooding at this time.
