Ahead of the cold front today we will be sunny and in the 80s. Tonight south winds will add moisture to our atmosphere. Since it is a line of storms, damaging winds are the primary threat.

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A First Alert Day will be in effect for our early Friday. There will be a chance for minor snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated 3 inch amounts, to start the day. Most of the accumulations will be on grassy and elevated surfaces. Roads are fairly warm but they will cool as the snow falls leading to the possibility of slick spots and some snow covered roads for the morning commute.
