The victims were held captive for about three days in a house before being rescued by the anti-kidnapping unit and the FBI. Authorities discovered the two young Americans, along with three other kidnapped individuals, inside the residence.

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Five new measles cases were reported in El Paso on Thursday. These latest cases involve three unvaccinated adults and two adults with unknown vaccination status. There is a total of 18 cases reported in El Paso. Eleven cases are people who are unvaccinated, 6 have an unknown status and one person who was vaccinated.

A 26-year-old East El Paso resident was arrested and charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals after investigators responded to multiple complaints of animal abuse. Officers arrested Emilio Adrian Hernandez. On April 1, the Animal Cruelty Unit was called to the 10500 blocks of Ashwood, where witnesses reported seeing a man dragging and kicking a dog on a leash. The dog, identified as Goose, a brown boxer, was reportedly the victim of the abuse.
