For the 27th year, the prestigious World Indoor Bowls Championships is being held at Potters Resorts in Hopton-on-Sea, just outside Great Yarmouth, with BBC Sport coverage beginning on 20 January. Potters is to bowls what the Crucible Theatre is to snooker, where the best of the best come to compete. Favourite to win the open singles title this year is defending champion Stewart Anderson, who beat fellow Scot Alex Marshall in the final last January.
