    The 49-year-old woman killed in an April 28 shooting in Berthoud was reportedly struck by a bullet shot into her home at random, according to reporting from 9News. The woman ― who the Larimer County Coroner's Office has since identified as Jennifer Lynn James ― was found in her home with a bullet wound around 11:20 p.m. April 28, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office. Responding deputies and a Colorado State Patrol trooper provided first aid, but James died at the scene.

    Bass Pro Shops has begun construction on a new store in Loveland, Colorado. This will be Bass Pro Shop's fourth location in Colorado, in addition to two Cabela's stores also owned by the company. Bass Pro Shops is angling to open in Northern Colorado. The outdoor sporting goods retailer has started construction on a 129,000-foot-store directly northeast of the Crossroads Boulevard and Interstate 25 interchange, according to the city of Loveland's planning division.
