LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Sara Lynne Halsey was a young local woman with a bright future ahead of her. She was a student at the College of Southern Nevada with plans to attend UNLV in the fall. "I remember well her positive energy and the way that she dreamed some day of being somebody who pursued the math and engineering field," said Bo Bernhard, who was Sara's friend and is the current president of the UNLV Foundation. "She was delightful. Always happy and always had a smile on her face.
