LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Two local families are still searching for answers after a young couple was found dead eight years ago. Metro police say Nehemiah "Neo" Kauffman, 20, and his girlfriend Sydney Land, 21, were shot and killed in their apartment near Hualapai and Peace Way on Oct. 26, 2016. "Sydney was a girl full of life," said Steve Land, who is Sydney's father. "She loved life. She was a very giving, spontaneous girl who participated in everything.
