A fire broke out in Kwa Kassim, Tassia, Embakasi East, on Saturday, March 1 destroying several houses. Firefighters, along with residents, managed to contain the blaze, but at least six people, including a child, sustained burns. Authorities at the scene confirmed that the fire had been contained, although a significant amount of property was destroyed. Earlier, a video shared by the area Member of Parliament, Paul Ongili, alias Babu Owino, on Facebook, showed bright flames lighting the night sky.
