A pair of Waunakee art teachers, Create Waunakee and the village’s Rotary Club are set to begin work on a community mural and peace pole for the Waunakee Food Panty and Waunakee Neighborhood Connection (WNC). The mural, named Woven Together in Waunakee, was designed by Prairie Elementary School art teacher Renee Gavigan and Heritage Elementary School art teacher Jessica Stortz.
