Scattered, light rain showers are likely this evening as temperatures hold in the lower 50s. Shower chances slowly taper after sunset and we should be dry again by midnight across the Valley. Tonight, lows will fall to the upper 40s under partly cloudy skies. The clearing will be brief, as clouds roll in again Saturday morning.Saturday will be mostly cloudy and breezy, with highs in the low 60s. A spotty shower is possible. Sunday will feature a bit more sunshine and highs in the upper 60s.

The dreary, dank, drizzly, showery weather continues this evening. Rain will be light in intensity through the evening commute. It will feel even cooler with the east-southeasterly breeze. A line of showers and thunderstorms developing over western Pennsylvania will weaken, but remain intact as they move east of the mountains later this evening and into the overnight hours. Temperatures hover in the lower to mid 50s. Tonight, lows will fall to the low 50s under cloudy skies.

Periods of rain are in store today, as low pressure moves toward the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. There will be breaks in the rain this afternoon through early evening, if you want to get outdoors for a few hours. Due to damp, easterly flow, temperatures will be much cooler, holding steady in the mid-50s. It will also be breezy. Tonight, lows will fall to the low 50s under cloudy skies. Expect rain at times and patchy fog. Light rain and showers continue Thursday, tapering by evening.

WELL GOOD AFTERNOON. WE HAVE A LOT TO TALK ABOUT HERE. WE HAVE A FLOOD WARNING THAT’S IN EFFECT FOR CUMBERLAND COUNTY, AT LEAST PARTS OF CUMBERLAND COUNTY NEAR THE CONEWAGO CREEK CONODOGUINET CREEK. WE’LL HAVE MORE ON THAT COMING FROM RYAN ARGENTINE IN A LITTLE BIT HERE, BUT WE ALSO HAVE ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WE’RE TRACKING, BUT NOT FOR THIS EVENING. RIGHT NOW WE’RE ACTUALLY GETTING A CLEAR SKY AT THE MOMENT.

NATURAL GAS SERVICE. WE HAD SOME STRONG AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ROLL ACROSS THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON, BUT THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER IS COMING TO AN END. AS YOU CAN SEE, THE BULK OF THE VALLEY IS DRYING BACK OUT AS THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS ARE LIFTING OFF TO THE NORTH AND TO THE EAST. AND I’VE ALSO TURNED ON THE SATELLITE. WE’RE STARTING TO SEE THE SUN BREAK OUT BACK TOWARDS CHAMBERSBURG, GETTYSBURG, SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF YORK COUNTY.
