Folks, Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies had a pretty solid turnout for their 2025 Dawgs after Dark spring game. Now, it wasn’t some sort of record breaking attendance showing from the Huskies’ faithful, but getting a little over 20,000 UW football fans to show up on a Friday evening in Seattle feels like a pretty good win to me. Fisch deserves some serious credit and recognition for the way that he got fans (and alumni and students and such) to get connected with this event.

One of the greatest Washington Huskies ever (and one of the greatest college football players the sport has ever seen) made his way back to Seattle to hang out with Jedd Fisch and his team. Michael Penix Jr. was back in town and was seen on the sidelines supporting the Huskies, which was great to see.

The Spring Game is here! We finally get to watch some Washington Huskies football! It’s not an actual game, but it sure feels like Jedd Fisch and the Washington athletics department are investing a ton into making things feel exciting and intriguing for fans. There are a ton of festivities attached to this, Fisch has on multiple occasions put a ton of energy into promoting this and making it accessible for fans, and UW has done a great job of promoting this across all of their channels.

The 2025 Washington Husky spring game is just about here, folks. It’s technically game day for Jedd Fisch and the Washington Husky football team (which, you know, is admittedly a little odd to say given that we’re in early May, but hey, it’s a UW football game and we’ll definitely take what we can get).

As the Washington Huskies gear up for their second season of the Jedd Fisch era in Seattle, we are soon going to see what a team that is actually built in the way that Fisch wants to build a team will look like. Year one was such a bizarre and unique situation with the way that Fisch stepped in following the abrupt and disrupting departure of Kalen DeBoer.
