    A local authority has apologised to a Central Bedfordshire mother and her child and paid them £300, after a local government watchdog found three separate faults in its handling of their case. The resident complained Central Bedfordshire Council failed to provide a suitable education when her child was unable to attend school because of bullying, according to the local government and social care ombudsman.

The two-storey detached commercial building at 22A Bedford Road was occupied previously by the TSB Bank, according to a report to Central Bedfordshire Council’s development management committee. After the bank’s closure, the building had been vacant since August 2021,” explained the report.
