California’s nation-leading electric vehicle infrastructure continues to expand at a record pace. According to the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, California now has 48% more EV chargers than gasoline nozzles in the state. Since the last reporting period in August 2024, 26,193 new public and shared private EV chargers have been added across the state, bringing the total to 178,549 chargers – a significant step forward in meeting the growing demand for clean transportation.
