1 INTRODUCTION As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many changes occurred in people's lives such as increased media exposure, disruption in daily activities, social isolation, decreased social support, and limited access to support services to aid in emotional regulation which may have led to worsening body image perceptions and the development or exacerbation of disordered eating behaviors (Rodgers et al., 2020; Schneider et al., 2023).
