Compared To Other Vacuums The Miele Complete C3 Cat & Dog is a pretty high-end canister vacuum. It provides a fairly comfortable user experience, with quiet operation, quick access to attachments, and a well-built, easy-to-maintain design. Its SEB 228โ powerhead is well-suited to cleaning plush carpeting, though it's also very bulky and rather cumbersome to use in tight spots.

Compared To Other Vacuums The Shark PowerDetect Cordless is Shark's flagship cordless stick vacuum. Compared to alternatives, its folding wand and compatibility with a self-empty station are pretty unique standout features, but it isn't without its downsides. It's lacking power compared to market standouts like the Dyson Gen5detect, resulting in inferior debris pickup on carpets and in crevices and cracks. Its long recharge time can also be a pretty big nuisance in day-to-day use.

The Honeywell HEV320B is easy to clean. While none of its components are dishwasher-safe, there aren't that many to actually clean, and getting to them is pretty simple. There are few awkward tight spots, and cleaning out any grime or slime by hand or with a brush is simple for the most part. Just note that you'll need to hold the unit from the bottom when taking it apart, as the base comes off pretty easily and could spill out any water if you aren't careful.

This is a pretty feature-rich humidifier. The ASN-13 is equipped with a humidistat that allows it to adjust its mist level or even turn off to reach and maintain your desired ambient humidity level. It also has a UV light water sterilization system to inhibit mold and bacterial buildup within the tank. You can also add essential oil to the tray at the back of the unit and rotate the nozzle on top to orient the mist in whatever direction you'd like.

The Vicks VEV400 is easy to clean. While none of its components are dishwasher-safe, they can be fully detached from the central humidifier unit, allowing you to wash them in a sink. Cleaning instructions are unfortunately minimal, as they only detail how to descale and disinfect the humidifier. That said, there aren't many hard-to-reach areas you'll have to contend with. Just be careful when lifting the base, as water can spill out of the back grille.

The Honeywell HUL545W is moderately difficult to clean. There are quite a few parts that need to be cleaned, though thankfully, the unit can be disassembled pretty quickly. None of its components are dishwasher safe, though admittedly, they can all be detached from the unit and washed within a sink. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to reach every part of the water tank can be difficult.

The Vicks V3900 is very easy to clean. The humidifier comes apart pretty easily, and there are only three parts that need to be cleaned periodically. While none are dishwasher-safe, all of them can be detached from the base unit, so you can wash them in a sink under running water. Unlike the similarly designed Vicks VEV400, the V3900 also features a UV lightbulb to limit mold and bacterial growth inside the tank.

This is a somewhat feature-dense humidifier. Unlike most other ultrasonic humidifiers on the market, the Objecto H4 is meant to sterilize the water in its tank by heating it to 60 °C. One would expect this to result in a steady output of warm mist. However, we found it to be just marginally warmer than mist from a conventional ultrasonic humidifier; room temperature at best. It's worth noting that you can't turn off this heating feature.

Despite its wildly different appearance, the Honeywell HUL430B has a similar set of features to the Honeywell HUL545B. You can adjust the mist level with the front rotary dial. There's a rear tray for adding a few drops of your favorite essential oils. The HUL430B is also equipped with an automatic off function, which will turn the unit off once the tank has run dry.
