Despite coming one game away from elimination, the Warriors prevailed and eliminated the Rockets by a final score of 103-89. Despite what was an extremely hard-fought series, Golden State survived and will now move on to a very difficult matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers kicked off their second-round NBA playoff series on Sunday evening. While the Cavaliers entered the series as the favorite, the Pacers were able to steal Game 1 by a final score of 121-112. Tyrese Haliburton led the way for Indiana, scoring 22 points to go along with 13 assists and shooting 9-for-15 from the floor. Andrew Nembhard led the team in scoring wih 23 points and dished out six assists himself.

The 2025 NFL season is still a ways away, but the Kansas City Chiefs and star tight end Travis Kelce are hoping to make a run back to the Super Bowl and come out on top after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024.
