Ladywood Community Project will relocate to a new community hub at the Ladywood Estate regeneration project in Birmingham. The move comes after developer St Joseph stepped in as the development partner alongside the city council. The charity is currently housed in the Ladywood Health and Community Centre, which is under threat of closure as part of changes to the council’s budget.

Royal London Asset Management Property is looking to dispose of six-storey Tontine House in Glasgow city centre. Sheridan Keane Real Estate Investment has been tasked to take the property to the market, seeking offers of more than £13m. A deal at the asking price would represent an 8% yield. RLAM acquired the building 25 years ago for more than £16m. The 31,132 sq ft office building, featuring a bank branch, retail and leisure space, sits on the corner of Buchanan Street and Gordon Street.

Thermocable has signed a deal on a newly built warehouse at Leftfield Park in Bradford. The manufacturer of linear detection cable and monitoring will occupy a 42,102 sq ft facility on a 10-year lease. The building, owned by Leftfield Advisors, comprises warehouse space, offices and reception. Thermocable joins other occupiers on the site including Morrisons, Hovis, Woodlands Timber, Astonish, and Optimum Medical.

Investor and developer Legacie has secured £11.5m bridging loan on X1 The Platform, a 488-bedroom purpose-built student accommodation in Liverpool. Formerly known as The Exchange, the building was recently rebranded with X1 Sales & Lettings appointed as the new managing agent. Haymarket Management will oversee the building’s day-to-day operations and maintenance. Hilco Real Estate Finance has provided the 12-month financing, allowing Legacie to repay existing indebtedness.

Big Mamma has become the latest food and beverage occupier to take space at YY London, a newly refurbished 415,000 sq ft office building in Canary Wharf, E14. The Italian restaurant group, founded in 2015 in Paris by entrepreneurs Victor Lugger and Tigrane Seydoux, has taken 9,500 sq ft of space on a 15-year lease. It will begin operations next month.
