News Diverted American Airlines flight escorted by Italian fighter jets after ‘bomb threat’ An American Airlines flight travelling from New York to New Delhi was diverted midair due to a “bomb threat”. Flight 292 landed at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport “due to a possible security issue,” the airline said in a statement on Sunday, adding later the threat “was determined to be non-credible”.

Cyclists are fearful of entering the park (Picture: SWNS) London cyclists have begged the Met Police to start patrolling Regents Park in the early morning after a spate of muggings and hammer attacks. Regent’s Park hosts more than 30 cycling clubs, many of which meet daily around 5.45 am – but the peaceful morning cycles are being interrupted by armed balaclava-clad thieves. Many cyclists said they were threatened with hammers, machetes and knives before their bikes were stolen.
