    Tragedy struck weekend, on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos, after a deaf commuter was crushed by a mini commercial bus popularly called Korope. Report said an unidentified driver of the mini commercial bus alleged to be driving recklessly, lost control and veered off his lane. In the process of controlling the bus, he rammed into another mini bus stationed , before mowing down the unsuspecting pedestrian.

    NSIB investigates helicopter crashThe Eastwind Aviation helicopter that crashed into Bonny River, in Rivers State, yesterday, has claimed the lives of its eight occupants. The helicopter, carrying eight persons, six passengers and two crew members, crashed from Port Harcourt Military base to FPSO NUIM ANTAN (offshore Calabar). Rivers State Police Command said all eight persons aboard the helicopter that ditched into the Atlantic Ocean have been reportedly dead.

His brow furrowed and his lips pursed, as if the memories themselves were a physical burden.
