Currently, our understanding is limited regarding the relationship between anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibody levels post-COVID-19 vaccination and their protective value against the B.1.1.529 (Omicron) variant of SARS-CoV-2. In addition, the benefit of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines against the Omicron variant in patients with haematological malignancies remains to be clarified. In their paper the authors1 present the results of a prospective study from Lithuania.
