Hardie has signed a contract until the end of the 2027/28 season and becomes the big-spending Welsh club's first new signing of the 2025 summer transfer window. The Stranraer-born frontman started out his career at Rangers, making his debut in 2014, before going on to make appearances for St Mirren, Raith Rovers and Livingston in loan spells across Scotland.

As per the Rangers Review, the Ibrox side are exploring a move for the England Under-21 defender. It's believed Aarons is one of the names on a shortlist drawn up by recruitment chiefs at Rangers. Adam is said to have departed his role as Everton's set-piece coach in the hope of returning to the dugout after his first taste of management at Fleetwood Town last year.
