    Walmart has claimed the top spot for retailers for the 27th consecutive year in the latest PoweRanking report from data analytics firm Kantar. That annual benchmarking study identifies retailers and manufacturers/ suppliers that set the standard of performance, as ranked by their trading partners. “It is a distinguished achievement for brands to be included in the top 10,” said Jeffrey Maloy, Senior Vice President, Kantar.

    A majority of teens (58 percent) say rising prices have impacted the number and types of gifts they’ve received for the holidays in recent years, a new survey of such consumers conducted for Junior Achievement shows. Nearly three-in-four (71 percent) are concerned about the impact of inflation on this year’s holiday shopping season. The results are part of the JA Teens & Holiday Spending survey, which assesses teen consumer attitudes associated with the holiday shopping season.

    As Americans prepare for Thanksgiving, they’ll see some relief in food prices for their dinner that day, a new study from the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) has found. Specifically, the federation’s 38th annual survey on such costs found that serving this year’s classic Thanksgiving feast for 10 will total $61.17, or approximately $6.12 per guest.
