(Bloomberg) -- Saudi Arabia’s largest mall operator is bringing Westfield-branded shopping centers to the kingdom, in a bid to capitalize on the government’s push to drawn as many as 150 million tourists annually by 2030. Arabian Centres Co. has inked a 10-year franchising deal with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE, with an option to extend for another decade, the firms said in a statement. The initial phase of the deal will focus on three malls, which will be re-branded as Westfield centers.

(Bloomberg) -- Saudi chemicals giant Sabic recorded a surprise loss in earnings for a second straight quarter as the company suffers a slowdown in sales and undertakes a restructuring of its business to reduce costs. Saudi Basic Industries Corp. posted a net loss of 1.2 billion riyals ($320 million), according to a statement on Sunday. That compares with analysts’ estimates for a profit of 699 million riyals. Sabic also missed on revenue and earnings per share.
