DiscussionThis study conducted a comprehensive investigation to examine the association between high blood eosinophils and the risk of exacerbation in patients with COPD. The findings revealed that this association varied across different thresholds (200, 300, 400 cells/μL and 2%, 3%, 4%) and factors (including different regions, phases of COPD, and follow-up time).
