University student recovered three days after abduction

In a successful joint operation on Wednesday, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) recovered a kidnapped university student and arrested two suspects involved in the abduction. According to an AVCC spokesperson, 21-year-old Ghayur Abbas, son of Mureed Abbas, was abducted at gunpoint on April 20, 2025, after leaving home for Iqra University. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Baloch Colony police station.
