Tomalin said the school will enroll around 650 students across grades 6 to 11, offering the Cambridge curriculum. “It’s worth noting that we’re following the Cambridge curriculum, where grades 9 and 10 are focused on IGCSEs—International General Certificates of Secondary Education—which is a two-year programme. Similarly, in grade 11, students will begin the A Level programme, which is also a two-year course,” he said.

The NTA’s alleged failure to conduct exams smoothly is not limited to NEET-UG. Multiple issues have hindered the conduct of the ongoing Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate admissions (CUET-UG)—a gateway for admissions to over 280 universities in India—including delays at several centres across the country due to server and internet problems. NTA even had to cancel the examination at many centres because of technical glitches.

The minimum aggregate cutoff for the general category this year is 20.56 percent, which is 10 percentage points lower than last year’s 30.34 percent. Earlier, a similar drop was seen in 2020, when it dropped to 17.42 percent amid the Covid pandemic, down from 25 percent in both 2019 and 2018. In 2021, the minimum cutoff remained at 17.5 percent, and in 2022, it further declined to 15.28 percent. However, it rebounded to 23.89 percent in 2023 and rose to 30.28 percent in 2024.
